Jo Jo is a 42-year
veteran of professional baseball, who first appeared in a major league
uniform in 1932 as an outfielder for the Detroit Tigers with whom he
remained for the biggest share of his big league playing career.
Since retiring as a player 20 years ago, he has been a major league coach,
minor league manager and a scout. |
